I finished by giraffe piece, finally. It looks nothing like how I imagined it. I realized that I spend longer developing an idea than I do actually making the piece; I should be spending more time on my pieces. I wish that my pieces were as strong as the ideas that I have in my head.
Mariah, I've gotta say, you don't give yourself quite enough credit. I haven't seen this piece in person, but it looks great. I think all of your pieces are incredibly storng. They all have so much movement and emotion to them. And with wire, that's hard to do. Very well done, hopefully I'll see this piece tomorrow in the critique.
