On the field trip, Olivia and Jayla pointed out to me some wire sculptures in the Portland Art Museum gift shop. They were similar to mine, however I felt that they really lacked movement. Therefore, I want to focus on capturing action when creating my wire forms so that they do not become boring.

Oh! I forgot to say last time that the artist, Elizabeth, does not use any tools. She uses just her hands to bend and twist the wire. That's impressive.

I am really inspired by this artist's work. Her name is Elizabeth Berrien. She creates amazing wire sculptures and illustrations. As part of my concentration I want to incorporate complex wire forms if I can, forms similar to the wire iquana and hummingbird I have already made.

I finally figured out what I want to do for my concentration! I want to use only wire and found objects.
